Masjid Sultan (Limited Edition)

Singapore’s Masjid Sultan / Sultan Mosque, landmark in Kampong Glam. One detail I find especially moving - the ringed base of each golden dome is inlaid with glass bottle ends donated by less well-off Muslims, so that everyone in the community could take part in building the mosque.

Limited edition reduction relief print* - edition of 10. Designed, carved on wood, and printed by hand on artist paper, and finished with hand painted details in watercolour.

* Print is created using a single block in the reduction method - each colour layer is carved and printed successively, and the block is destroyed in the process.
